Op 12 oktober promoveerde Ramsha Iqbal aan de Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam op haar proefschrift ’Bridging the gap: from methodological developments towards clinical implementation of imaging biomarkers in lung and breast cancer’. Als promotoren traden op dr. C.W. Menke-van der Houven van Oordt en prof. dr. R. Boellaard; copromotoren waren prof. dr. H.W.M. Verheul en dr. ir. M.M. Yaqub. Ramsha Iqbal is momenteel werkzaam als aios Interne Geneeskunde in het Zaans Medisch Centrum.
