Mastectomie bij borstkanker vereist teamwerk van chirurg, patholoog en borstradioloog

Op 20 februari 2025 promoveerde Orit Kaidar-Person aan Maastricht University op haar proefschrift ‘A Brilliant-secret: Identifying the high-risk volumes for local recurrence after mastectomy and breast reconstruction to guide postmastectomy radiation therapy’. Als promotoren traden op prof. dr. L.J. Boersma, prof. dr. D.K.M. de Ruysscher, prof. dr. B.V. Offersen; copromotor was prof. dr. P. Poortmans. Orit Kaidar-Person is momenteel werkzaam als director van de breast radiation unit in het Sheba Medical Center en associated professor aan de Tel Aviv University in Israël.
